Description

Festive Patriotic Oreo Balls with Oreo, cream cheese, red and blue candy melts, and star sprinkles. Perfect for patriotic parties and summer gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb 2.12 oz Family Size package Oreo Cookies
  • 8 ounce block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 12 ounce bag red candy melts
  • 12 ounce bag blue candy melts
  • ⅓ cup Ghirardelli white melting wafers
  • White star confetti sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. 1. Line two baking trays with parchment and set aside.
  2. 2. Pulse Oreo cookies in a food processor or blender into fine crumbs.
  3. 3. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add Oreo crumbs and mix until well combined.
  4. 4. Scoop and roll mixture into balls. Place on trays.
  5. 5. Chill balls in refrigerator for 2 hours or freeze for 15-20 minutes.
  6. 6. Melt blue candy melts. Dip half the balls, tap off excess, and sprinkle with star confetti. Chill to set.
  7. 7. Melt red candy melts. Dip remaining balls, tap off excess, and place on tray.
  8. 8. Melt white melting wafers in a piping bag. Drizzle over red-coated balls. Chill all balls to set.
  9. 9. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat.
