- 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
- 1/3 cup honey or simple syrup (to taste)
- 3 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Whisk matcha powder with 1/2 cup hot (not boiling) water until smooth and frothy.
- 2. In a pitcher, combine lemon juice and honey or simple syrup. Stir until sweetener dissolves.
- 3. Add cold water to the lemonade base and mix well.
- 4. Pour in the prepared matcha and stir to combine.
- 5. Fill glasses with ice, pour over matcha lemonade, and garnish with lemon slices and mint. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness to taste.
- For a fizzy version, replace some water with sparkling water.
