Description
A decadent Dubai chocolate bar cupcake featuring rich chocolate, toasted kataifi, and pistachios—a luxurious treat inspired by Dubai’s dessert culture.
Ingredients

- 3 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. kataifi
- 2 tsp butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate (chocolate chips or a bar, chopped)
- Optional: 2 tbsp. chopped pistachios
Instructions
- 1. Gather all your ingredients.
- 2. Place a pan over medium heat and add the butter. When melted, add the kataifi. Toast until golden brown, stirring often. Remove and cool.
- 3. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl: 30 seconds on high, stir, then another 20–30 seconds. Or use a double boiler.
- 4. Place a spoonful of melted chocolate in each of 5 silicone cups.
- 5. Add a spoonful of the toasted kataifi (and pistachios, if using) onto the chocolate.
- 6. Top with more melted chocolate.
- 7. Chill the cups in the fridge until the chocolate sets.
- 8. Once set, remove from molds and enjoy!
Notes
- Chocolate can also be melted using a double boiler or a glass bowl over a pot of simmering water.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cardamom or sea salt to the chocolate.
- Let the cupcakes chill completely before removing from molds for best results.
