- ½ cup (96 g) Prepared Taco Meat
- 2 tablespoons Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- 1. Add the cottage cheese to a microwave-safe bowl. Top with the taco meat and the shredded cheese.
- 2. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir the mixture. Heat in 15-second intervals, if needed, until hot and the cheese is melted.
- 3. Top with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- I use Good Culture 2% cottage cheese.
- For protein, use 93/7 lean ground beef, ground chicken, turkey, or even plant-based crumbles.
- Try different cheeses like Pepper Jack, Colby Jack, or a Mexican blend.
