Description
A festive American Flag Fruit Pizza with a sugar cookie crust, creamy topping, and fresh berries. Perfect for patriotic parties and summer gatherings!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 roll sugar cookie dough (16.5 ounces)
- 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounces)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tub whipped topping (8 ounces)
- Fresh blueberries
- Fresh strawberries
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- 2. Slice sugar cookie dough and place onto pan. Using a piece of parchment paper on top, gently press dough to cover the bottom of the pan. Push dough down around the edge; a border is fine after baking. Poke holes in dough with a fork.
- 3. Bake 14-16 minutes or until edges are just starting to brown. Cool completely.
- 4. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until fully combined.
- 5. Spread a generous, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the cooled sugar cookie crust.
- 6. Arrange fresh blueberries in the upper left corner for the “stars,” and use sliced strawberries to create the “stripes.” Pipe some of the remaining frosting on top for extra flair.
- 7. Chill until ready to serve. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Pat berries dry before arranging to keep colors vibrant.
- Swap strawberries for raspberries or cherries, or use a brownie base for a chocolate twist.
- Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
