Description
Soft, chewy 4th of July Cake-Mix Cookie Bars loaded with red, white, and blue M&M’s. The easiest, most festive dessert for your summer party!
Ingredients

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups red, white, and blue M&M’s
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking pan and line with parchment paper.
- 2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, and melted butter. Mix until combined.
- 3. Fold in M&M’s and mix until evenly distributed.
- 4. Spread dough into prepared pan with a spatula.
- 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bars are golden on the edges.
- 6. Let cool, then use parchment to lift out and cut into squares.
Notes
- Swap yellow cake mix for chocolate, white, or funfetti for variety.
- Use seasonal M&M’s or other candies for different holidays.
- Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
